Introducing Little Miss Kate
January 4, 2012This is my first shoot for 2012 and I couldn’t think of a better subject. How glorious is a new life. And this little beauty is just perfect, a petite miniature of her big brother. Being a family photographer is fantastic. You get to be there at the most important times of a family’s growth. Such a privilege to have such wonderful families to photograph. Thanks Ben and Sarah for again inviting me into your home.
Sneak Peak for Jodie and David.
December 6, 2011Perfect weather, Perfectly stunning kids, Fantastic parents – so it makes sence that we created some amazing images. These two were so full of fun and life. I was covered in sand by the end of this shoot but its always fun at the beach. I had to put a few extra’s online – more than i would usually do because I just couldnt choose which ones to upload.
Sneak Peak for Kerry and Howard.
December 3, 2011One of the best things about being a photographer is that you get to meet some fantastic families. We had a great time tonight creating some great images that will be cherished by this family for many years to come. And what a really lovely family they are.
Kids grow up so fast and its fantastic to capture different milesones in the family timeline. This family is right at one of those milestone times. It’s when the kids are no longer kids, but adults in their own right. It’s a time when Mum and Dad can enjoy the company of their children and help guide them on to the next step in their lives. Before long they get their own place, move out and move on. This is such a special time for a family and I am so pleased that I was able to create some great memories for you guys. And i just LOVE the dogs. They were just brilliant. Woof!!
See you all again soon.

October 3, 2011A tribute to My Dad ~Ed Neumann~
September 4, 2011
I didn’t think that the first father’s day without my dad would be so tough. I was always a bit of a daddy’s girl but today I have really missed him. So I thought the best way I could remember his was to add this tribute to my blog.
Dad was an old style gentleman, a serious business man, and wickedly funny. He enjoyed a good joke and a smoke and the occasional scotch, but his big love was his family. He also loved his guns and his Mercedes.
I use to walk past Dads office at home and see him working away, or reading the paper or doing whatever it was he did in his space. Thankfully I photographed him there and now have this wonderful portrait to remember him by. It has everything that made him dad. His guns, surrounded by wood (he was a furniture manufacturer and worked with wood). I am so glad that I made the time to create this image of dad.
I was also lucky to have him be there for my kids and they now have very fond memories of their pop. He also told them that after he was gone he would always be there watching over them. Roy still listens out for Pop when he stays at grandma’s house just in case Pop wants to let him know he is still there.
Dad was an only child but left a wonderful, close and loving family behind that will always remember him. Happy Fathers day Dad. I miss you.
Miss Marlie is now 1 1/2. Where does the time go!!
August 21, 2011As an Adelaide Family Photographer I am so lucky to have such wonderful families that invite me back regularly. Miss Marlie has been a delight to photograph and she is now a very busy little toddler. She kept us all running but what a beautiful child she is. So full of life and mischief. I think Naomi and Mark will be kept on their toes. Looking forward to our shoot at the end of the year
. See you again soon.
